If you\'re an estate or letting agent I can see why you would be so excited about being an \'online only\' agent. No expensive office to run, probably less staff. Fantastic! right? but what about your customers?
As a vendor or a landlord what is the benefit of using an online only agent to sell or manage your property over and above the classic high street agent? I can\'t see one. You can\'t pop in and discuss your property with a friendly face, your tenants can\'t come in and pay their rent in cash. Prospective buyers/renters that aren\'t \'tech savvy\' can\'t complete online application forms and may want to sit and speak to someone about the biggest purchase of their lifetime.
These are just some of the many benefits of using an agent with a fully functioning high street office.
Of course an agent having a strong brand and a proper online presence is very important but this cant be achieved alongside the traditioanl approach. Next time you choose which agent to list your property with, don\'t fall for the modern hype. Think about who you want representing your investment.
