All you need to do is to email your current agent with a notice to leave and let them know Ultralets will be in touch to arrange the collection of docs. We can provide you with a template of what this email needs to say if required.
We'll even pay your exit fees with your existing agent - read how and why.
Then it's over to us! There's no need for any awkwardness or a slow dragged-out exit between you and your existing agent. We take care of the switch and keep you in the loop.
Two key perks are included when you switch over:
Compliance reboot Your properties must be compliant (fire alarms, CO alarms, EPCs, tenancy docs etc). We make the necessary checks and store all the documents. |
Rent reviews We'll check the current rents of your properties and advise on any increases if required. We can issue a section 13 rent notice to tenants to action the increase. |
What do we take care of when you switch?
A lot goes on behind the scenes to ensure the process is as seamless as possible.
1. Collect documents and keys from the current agent |
2. Arrange transfers of the tenant's deposit into our DPS |
3. Inform the tenant of management change with a Section 48 Notice |
4. Carry out a property inspection and log a report |
5. Ensure the tenant is paying on time and in full on next payment date |
6. Fully onboard the landlord and the tenant to our systems |
