First and foremost, a bit of background. We recently heard from a landlord who told us they were charged £7.10 for a key cutting at a local store... Great, we thought, just another inflated expense and hoop for property owners to jump through when considering letting out their property.

 

We didn't want our clients to have to deal with that, so we found a solution. We invested in a key-cutting machine to provide our clients with an even more efficient and cost-effective service. Sometimes, it can feel like everyone else is working against you as a landlord, but rest assured, we are working for you. We're proud to offer extras like this for our clients, and will always look for more ways to enhance our service to give you the best.

 

This service is exclusively for our landlords and we're cutting keys AT COST on-site at our new Flemingate HQ. It's so handy, all we have to do is whip into the back and cut the new keys for you as and when required, and all you pay for is the blanks. That means you'll only pay £1 a key 🔑 

Jack has been through all the necessary training, alongside mentoring from Tony, our Maintenance Engineer with a background in locksmithing. Raring to get going with this new service in 2023, Jack has hit the ground running with many keys already cut for our landlords.

 

It may seem like a small cost saving in the grand scheme of things, but when new keys are required, it can be a great deal of hassle when you take into account travel time to the key cutters and their opening hours etc.

 

Collectively 100s of keys are cut through Ultralets each year and this extra perk for our landlords is just one of the ways we're enhancing our service this year.
