In July of this year, at no small cost, we joined the Rightmove Plus service, enabling us to list our properties for their 208 million users. 

Prior to this, we were solely on Zoopla but we were frequently asked by our landlords "Why is my property not on Rightmove?", "Other agents use Rightmove, they must be better than you"... you get the idea.

We know which side our bread is buttered on, our Landlords are key to our success so we would be crazy not to listen to them. So that's exactly what we did, we got signed up and launched our first property on the site in July, and within the first hour or so we had an influx of enquiries and calls being directed from Rightmove through to our systems. 

Utilising the Agent Response service, we are able to pre-screen enquiries with a set questionnaire that is sent to anyone registering their interest through Rightmove (and Zoopla), this provides the renter with an opportunity to show us their interest in a property, and also allows us to save time by weeding out anyone who can't be bothered to fill in the form - they're likely not a candidate we want to entertain to place in your properties. Agent Response not only tells us which platform the enquiry came through but also grades them based on hitting certain criteria based on their form responses. Since launching on Rightmove, we have had over 4000 lead enquiries, leading to around 70 high-quality completed applications on our properties, sent through for landlord approval, on Rightmove alone.

Doubling the volume of applications we receive within the same space of time, without sacrificing the quality of the applicant, has enabled us to secure a good tenant in good time for our landlords across the board.

By investing heavily in these technologies, we eliminate hours of daily administration, communication and chasing responses. Being a modern-day agent comes at a cost, but the value it has brought to the business and our day-to-day operations have been immense.
