At the forefront of our Lettings Team, we have our Viewings Team. This team has seen some excellent growth over the last few months, and with around 100 viewings completed on average per week, this team is critical in our process of securing high-quality tenants for our clients' properties.

 

We are thrilled to introduce Mandy Shelley, who recently joined us to support this vital team. We are so pleased with how Mandy has been progressing and has fallen so naturally into her role. We caught up with her after her first couple of weeks to check in and give you all an insight into who she is and how she found her way to us:

 

 

Previous to working for Ultralets, I have been a professional hair stylist for 36 years, and have owned my own salon in Tickton for over 11 years. Working as a hairdresser meant I was always caring for clients from all walks of life, and being sociable at work was vital to my business and personal life. After deciding I needed a career change, there was no doubt in my mind I wanted to continue being customer-facing in my working day.

 

I have felt so supported in what has been a rather overwhelming first month! I have definitely been thrown in at the deep end, but I wouldn’t have it any other way; I feel Spencer and the team have really trusted and had faith in my ability to learn new skills and this has helped me gain lots more confidence.

 

My first impression of Ultralets was entirely positive after my son started in 2022. I love the relaxed office environment and family atmosphere, as soon as I joined the team, I felt I could turn to anyone in the office for advice and guidance.

 

Without a doubt; I find inspections more challenging - especially in the mornings! I find viewings feel more natural to me as I’m such a chatterbox and love to help clients envision their life in our homes. 

 

Me and my partner have lots of hobbies! We ride motorbikes; paddle board; getaway in our motorhome with our two dogs; scuba dive; and we both have grandchildren who keep us on our toes - to say the least! 

 

Mandy has hit the ground running since joining the team. Her clear enthusiasm and desire to deliver great customer service has already shone through on the many viewings and reports she has conducted so far. The whole team have really enjoyed working with Mandy and we can’t wait to see what more she has to offer the team in the future. Keep up the great work, Mandy.
