We have a decade of experience on the front line of lettings in Hull. With our local knowledge, we help landlords to manage their investments and make their next move in the Hull buy to let market.
Now is the time to invest in property in Hull, read why in this post:
Small but mighty
Hull may not be the largest city, but it’s certainly an investment hotspot where you can enjoy some of the lowest house prices in the country.
Affordable property prices with impressive yields are a recipe for success. You can snap up great opportunities with quality properties available from as low as £25k.
With approx 285,000 people living in Hull, there’s a large rental market out there which means long void periods are rare.
We work with many investors who haven’t been to Hull before, some just want our advice on certain areas but others prefer to plan a trip to the city and we happily give them a tour.
Changing views
The city was named the worst place to live in the UK back in 2005 by a Channel 4 TV show, but things have changed considerably since then ...
Rob Bence, co-founder of The Property Hub, a global community of property investors believes Hull is a city to watch for buy-to-let investors: “Yields are already fantastic, and with Hull gaining Capital of Culture status, plus the recent investment into the city, I expect to see property investors paying more attention to Hull.”
Hull is a city on the up and 2019 is the time to invest in property before house prices rise.
Community spirit
Hull has experienced a massive overhaul following the UK City of Culture in 2017. Millions have been invested in the area and improvements are everywhere you look.
It’s a city in the spotlight and there’s definitely a noticeable buzz which has attracted more visitors than ever before, especially with new developments like the Hull Venue.
There are regular events at the heart of Hull such as Humber Street Sesh and Freedom Festival that residents love, they bring everyone together. See more reasons why Hull is the ideal place to live here.
Job opportunities
With the likes of Siemens and other large businesses investing in Hull, there’s a flurry of young professionals looking for a place to live.
Siemens opened a £310 million wind turbine blade factory in Hull, which was the biggest investment in the city since Victorian times. This created 1,000 skilled jobs. Those workers need housing!
Strong transport connections
Hull is a commuters dream, attracting more people to the area. It has fantastic transport links so it’ll appeal to a commuters market, and also makes it easy for out-of-town investors to come and view their rental properties.
You can travel to London by rail in just a little over two and a half hours. Humberside airport is half an hours drive away and we have a ferry port making it easy to get across to Europe. Other big cities are within reach like Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester too.
